Curio Bay Camping Ground
DOC Campsite Curio Bay offers a magnificent view of the south coast of the Isle of Jade. By the sea, the site offers the basic facilities. Do not expect to find a pool and a TV room as the view and location of this camp is all TV channels you would need. The sea of sight to wake up to in the morning, cliffs left and right and visits from some marine animals. Curio Bay is known for its surfing beaches and for Hector dolphins who regularly play with the surfers. The terrain offers 75 tent pitches without electricity and 25 sites with power and a dump station. Kitchen and laundry facilities available.

Invercargill Top 10 Holiday Park
The southern tip of New Zealand is home to many wonders and deserves to be discovered. Located at the southernmost point of New Zealand is the Invercargill Top 10 Holiday Park. The sites are located a few meters from the sea and will seduce you to stay more than one night.
Quiet and discreet you can easily enjoy its many facilities such as its modern kitchen, the laundry machine for $2, the TV room or its barbecue and pizza oven. If you need to change the water in your vehicle, a dump station is available for free at the campground entrance.
For activities, we recommend a drive to visit the famous yellow sign with the cities of the world signposted. Enjoy the amazing view from the cliffs and try to find the beautiful sea coves...

DOC campsite - Cascade Creek Fiordland
Your tour of New Zealand would not be complete without a visit to the region of the fjords in the south-western tip of the South Island. In the middle of Fiordland National Park is a campground managed by the Department of Conservation, the Cascade Creek campsite.
Arriving late in the afternoon, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the mountains and fjords. On site, you get basic facilities such as toilets, barbecue and picnic tables. A stream runs through the middle of the camp. You can also enjoy outdoor activities such as fishing, or a one-hour walk that will take you to the picturesque Lake Gunn. This location is ideal to prolong the experience of a cruise in the fjords, or before reaching the beautiful region of turquoise lakes.

Camp on the shores of Lake Rerewhakaaitu. Take binoculars for bird watching. There is good fishing, swimming and walking nearby.
Beachhaven Holiday Park - Waihi Beach
Beachaven Kiwi Holiday Park is located on the northern tip of Waihi Beach. A few minutes from the campsite and you're on your towel or in the water enjoying the beautiful beach. Waihi Beach is a great little village that comes alive in the summer. There are many cafes, restaurants and bars.

Golden Grove Holiday Park - Mount Maunganui, Tauranga

Matata Conservation Campsite - Eastern Bay of Plenty
The Matata campsite is a paradise for fishermen and nature lovers. This DOC campsite is right next to the Matata wildlife sanctuary. An impressive number of birds are found here and you can see them through many viewing points put in place by DOC. There are also many walks inside the park.

Fantail Bay Campsite - Coromandel
From Coromandel take Colville Road for 22 km to Whangaahei Junction, then turn left and follow the signs to Port Jackson Road for 28 km

Hot Water Beach Top 10 Holiday Park - Coromandel
Hot Water Beach Top 10 Holiday Park is situated on the east coast of the Coromandel Peninsula. Ideal for all diving enthusiasts or people who want to swim in this area, enjoy the location to satisfy your passions for water sports (diving, swimming, fishing ...). From here you can easily go to Hot water beach to dig a hot pool (ideal for families) which is the main activity in the region.
